Our Project
Our design group will be creating a functioning concrete canoe that will be able to successfully compete at the American Society of Civil Engineers Concrete Canoe Competition. This canoe will need to meet all ASCE standards in order to gain full potential points for the competition. The results of the competition will be based on Best design paper, Best oral presentation, Best final product, Spirit of the Competition, Women’s Sprint Race, and Men’s Sprint Race. This is the 2nd year that The College of New Jersey has entered a team to compete at the competition. This year the team will participate in the MET Regional competition on April 22, 2012.
